Located in Van Buren County, Iowa 🖤 The Cluckin’ Egghole is a family owned farm 🖤 Our chickens free-range because we ❤️ them and believe they deserve freedom too 🖤 #freethechickens🖤#lovethechickens🖤 The Cluckin' Egghole raises free-ranged chickens. We strive to give our chickens a healthy and happy life. They are not only used for egg production, they are also part of the family. We never cull our chickens, unless it is in the best interest of the chicken due to some unforseen cause. Our chickens make for a wonderful coping strategy on the stressful days, provide laughs and beauty to the farm, and of course produce delicious, hand-gathered, farm-fresh eggs packed with protien! You can tell it's farm fresh and free-ranged by the color of the yolk, which is deep orange compared to the light yellow yolk you'll find in store-bought eggs from chickens that are confined. Our eggs not only taste yummier, they are also healthier for you!

She came down with a condition known as Wry Neck when she was around 6 months old. This means that she can't really hold her head still and the muscles in her neck spasm quite often. She can no longer fly onto the roosting bar in the coop so she sleeps on the floor. Most people would have decided to cull Earl given her condition, but she doesn't seem to be in pain, loves to be held, and stands up for herself so until she is no longer a happy chicken, she gets to stay! As you can see, the big scary M...
